Tuition & Enrollment

We believe in the power of small classes. Therefore, each camp has a cap on the number of people to ensure a better experience for all. To guarantee your place at the barre, early application is suggested. There is no audition for this program but experience is necessary. Consult the Level Of Study section for more information about placement.

To guarantee your place at the barre, early application is suggested. To apply, simply download the application pdf from the website, print it, fill it out and make a payment with your application. The application can be mailed or emailed. Tuition is due in full with your application. Pay by check, or credit card using the link provided (US only). For international payments please go to Paypal.com and use the Send option. Use our email address to send money: info@sunkingdance.com.

You will receive an email notification of receipt and a Welcome Packet soon after your application is received. The Welcome Packet is filled with information regarding hotel reservations, our camp instructors, roommate connection, directions, items to bring, parking, shuttle service, restaurants, photography services and massage. It will make your planning easy.

Please, wait to make flight arrangements before your enrollment is confirmed. If you will not be able to attend for the duration of the camp, we will be glad to prorate tuition based on availability. Call or email to make prior arrangements. In the event that you must cancel, a partial refund and/or credit is applicable.

Unexpected things happen. Sometimes work, illness and injury get in the way of fun time. Our cancellation insurance is a simple solution. The insurance guarantees that if you have to cancel for any reason you are entitled to a full refund up until 7 days before camp. After that point you are entitled to a 75% refund of tuition or of the unused portion of that camp, whichever is less. The insurance must be purchased at the time of registration and is nontransferable. All refunds will be issued in US dollars.Check the box on your application to enroll.

Full Day Insurance $150, Short Day Insurance $120

 

 

When you sign up for Sun King Dance Camp and register for classes, services are removed from our inventory and considered sold to you. We make financial plans based upon the revenues we expect to achieve from your full performance of the camp. It is impossible for us to know in advance whether or under what circumstances we would be able to resell your spot in any classes for which you have signed up. In most cases, when you cancel within a short time of camp, Sun King Dance is unable to resell your spot. For these reasons, in the event of your cancellation, refunds shall be distributed as follows:

Full Day Refunds for Cancellation

  • Over 8 weeks before camp: Take your amount paid minus $225. Amount remaining is your refund due.
  • Over 4 weeks before camp: Take your amount paid minus $350. Amount remaining is your refund due.
  • 30 – 15 days before camp: Take your amount paid minus $500. Amount remaining is your refund due.
  • 14 – 8 Days before camp: Take your amount paid minus $650. Amount remaining is your refund due.
  • 7 days or less: An $85 refund will be issued when meals were included.

If you are injured before camp we will allow you to drop back to the Short Day without penalty up until the Saturday before camp begins. You will receive a refund for the difference.

Short Day Refunds for Cancellation

  • Over 8 weeks before camp: Take your amount paid minus $175. Amount remaining is your refund due. If you signed up for pas de deux, add that amount to your refund. If you signed up for Performance Class, add that amount to your refund.
  • Over 4 weeks before camp: Take your amount paid minus $300. Amount remaining is your refund due. If you signed up for pas de deux, add amount minus $20 to your refund. If you signed up for Performance Class add amount minus $20 that to your refund.
  • 30 – 15 days before camp: Take your amount paid minus $450. Amount remaining is your refund due. If you signed up for pas de deux, add amount minus $30 to your refund. If you signed up for Performance Class add amount minus $30 to your refund.
  • 14 – 8 Days before camp: Take your amount paid minus $600. Amount remaining is your refund due. If you signed up for pas de deux, add amount minus $40 to your refund. If you signed up for Performance Class add amount minus $40 to your refund.
  • 7 days or less: A $85 refund will be issued when meals were included.

 
Transfers

  • If you wish to transfer your application to a different program there is a $25 fee for the change. Please contact the director.

 

In the unlikely event that Sun King Dance must cancel the session for which you are registered, you will have the option for a refund, or for a credit towards any camp session for which there is availability in the same year or the following year. Sun King Dance’s liability in any event shall be limited to a 75% refund of all funds paid by you for the canceled session.
